My parents have a Bravia KDL-32W653A, with Firmware PKG4.600EUA installed. For some time now, after starting the BBC's iPlayer from the SEN menu, the app just shows the iPlayer logo and a 'loading' state. Nothing else happens. I've reported this to the BBC already, with the following response:

Bravia KDL40NX703 firmware update issue - iplayer - Sony Just recieved my Bravia KDL40NX703. All worked fine out of the box except iplayer. I've read the forum issues. The current firmware is 0103. I have downloaded the latest formware 0108, loaded onto three different USB sticks. Reformatted them with FAT32. Refreshed internet content but it simply will Bravia TV, BBC iPlayer and "Internet download fail - Sony We have a Sony Bravia KDL-42W706B, software version PKG3.004EUA, and have the download problem when using BBC iplayer. We have been using iplayer with no problem for years before this problem arose in recent months. I would say the problem seems to be getting worse.
